NYPD Is On The Hunt For Man Who Stole $1.6 Million Of Gold From Armored Truck


In New York City, on September 29th, an armored car driver picked up a five gallon bucket full of gold flakes from a local business. The 86 pound bucket contained an estimated $1.6 million dollars worth of gold. The NYPD have released this security camera footage of a suspect stealing that literal bucket full of gold right off the back of the truck in broad daylight, then walking several blocks and taking it to a van and driving away. The suspect even stops to set it down, as you can see. Still hunting for any information about the suspect and the theft, the NYPD have opened up tip lines.
