Hypnotic 730HP Black Label 2015 Saleen S302 Ford Mustang Revealed in Los Angeles

2015_Saleen_S302-800

It’s a new era for automobile industry in the world. Saleen Automotive give us an amazing Ford Mustang model, raising the curtain on the latest pony car out of their Corona.
I’m enchanted because this year Saleen started production S302 Ford Mustang with hypnotic 750HP Black Label, with fantastic baby body design in one hand and it’s a beast with V8 Ford Mustang S302 strengthened 5.0L Coyote motor with twin-screw supercharger in other hand.
This beast is a great powerful Mustang model with 730 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque on 91 octane gas. Beside the great engine performance, this model characterized with a massive set of 15-inch dimpled rotors and multi-piston brakes, 275/35R20 tires in the front and 275/40R20 tires in the rear.

In my opinion, the interior is a combination of luxury and convenience. Everyone driving this car will feel gallantly seating on black leather seats and using leather wrapped steering wheel with audio controls and center stuck display.

Amazing Quant e-Sportlimousine That Runs On Salt Water Is Approved For Use In Europe

This car has got a motor at each wheel, makes a Fisker look as an AMC Pacer, gullwing doors, and can go from stand to 60 MPH as fast as a Nissan GT-R. This thing is powered by something very similar to a fuel cell, but it uses salt water as an electrolyte. Now, this car is approved to drive on European roads.
nanoflowcell-quant-elimousine-sport
This car is called the QUANT e-Sportlimousine. It is a very high-spec electric car. This thing has got a motor on each wheel in order to give it AWD with torque vectoring, and each one of those motors deliver 227 horsepower, and a total of 908 horsepower. But the Quant’s electronics don’t want you dead, so easily, so the system caps the power at 644 horsepower. The top torque numbers are 213 lb-ft per wheel, and that means 8,552 total. The car can reach a speed of 350 km/h, and it reaches 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds! The Quant e-Sportlimousine is built by the German company Quant.

These numbers are really amazing, but the part of the supercar that could prove genuinely important is the use of a flow battery. The flow batteries were patented in 1976 by NASA, especially the redox-type.
This car uses a nano-network flow battery, and that is the reason why the company is named nanoFLOWCELL.
NanoFlowcell-Quant-Geneve_11
The flow battery uses a lithium-sulfur chemistry organized in a network of nanoparticles. The network removes the necessity that charge moves out and in particles that are in direct touch with the conducting plate. The nanoparticle network permits electricity to flow throughout the liquid. This permits more energy to be obtained.
The battery’s energy density is enough that the Quant is declared to have a range of 200 to 300 miles or so. And maybe even better than that, unlike classic chemical batteries, you just need to replenish the electrolyte to recharge the battery that in this case is a salt water. The size of the electrolyte tanks influences the overall range, and their refill should be an easy and quick process similar to fueling up a gasoline car.

The electricity that comes from the flow battery is reserved in a pair of big capacitors, and then the electric motors draw from to turn the electricity into speed.
It just all sounds too good to be true. The science it’s based on is understood and solid, and some other kinds of flow batteries have been used before, yet generally in stationary contexts.
The e-Sport Limousine’s design is a little striking with flowing lines, gulling doors, and a great grille design. The 4 seat interior is really strong with so much flowing wood.
The company now has a registration plate from the German TUV Sud, and that means that they can begin testing on Europe’s public roads. Here you can see a video of the car.

3000 HP Ford Mustang Goes Airborne

3,000 Horsepower Drag Mustang Goes Airborne

You know that the things went wrong when you can see just the sky through the windshield.

The drag racer Dennis Bailey in 2011 had a crash when his 3000 HP twin-turbocharged Ford Mustang went airborne before coming down on a concrete barrier. The crash happened in Adel, Georgia at the South Georgia Motorsports Park during a race.
The YouTube user Urban Hillbilly has released the video where the Mustang goes airborne. The car’s nose shoots straight up in the air and stays there just long enough for a photograph, and then fails into the barrier in a cloud of debris and dust. Luckily, Bailey made it out without injuries. This video is another reminder that the drag racing can be dangerous and unpredictable.

the-carpool-deville-seeks-to-be-the-worlds-fastest-hot-tub_100470464_l

We know that 50 MPH doesn’t sound like a top speed, but this Cadillac Deville filled with water doesn’t look like a top-speed car, but the Carpool Deville is the fastest hot tub in the world. Unofficially.
This hot tub is a crated of Duncan Forster and Phillip Weicker. Their dream is to take the vehicle to the Bonneville Salt Flats and set a new record for a car hot tub.
Unfortunately, they were stopped in that attempt by water that caused the organization to cancel the event. They managed to run to 50 MPH, confirmed by many smartphones.
We are hoping that this year will be successful for the Carpool Deville. Enjoy the video!

The mystery of the buried Dino Ferrari is finally solved

1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS

Maybe you have already read the story about the 1974 Dino Ferrari 246 GTS found buried in 1978 in someone’s yard in Los Angeles. So here we have one documentary with the current owner of the Dino.
Whoever buried the car had thrown a few rugs on the top in order to protect the Italian machine. Dennis Carroll, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s detective dragged the rugs, wiped with his hand a smear of dirt from the windshield and peered through. There aren’t bodies.

A sweep of the trunk and the interior turned up no contraband or drugs either, but a run of the plates proved what his gut told him. The 1974 Dino Ferrari 246 GTS, the dug-up sports car, was on the LAPD’s stolen list.
Here follows the lady reporter that comes from the LA Times. The reporter wanted to know how the department of the Sheriff knew that the Dino was down there. Carroll and Sgt. Joe Sabas, his partner, crusty veterans of the burglary and narcotics beats had the answer. Some kids were playing in the dirt and found it. Something like that.

Yes, sure. It is always better to make up a story than to compromise a good snitch. You can’t know who knows what about whom there, and now – regarding the sports car that comes from a backyard hole – they knew Jack squat. After that the snitch adds a twist of lime – an insurance trickery.
The snitch says that the owner of the Dino had hired some guys to make it disappear. Their plan was to snatch it up on that night on December 7, while the owner of the car was at the Brown Derby on Wilshire with his wife sipping martinis.
Then the owner of the Dino would feed the cops a fanciful tale. The Dino had been a gift for his wife.
The cops had a joke after sending the owner on his way – Poor bastard won’t be getting laid tonight – they write it up like a “righteous theft”. Rosendo Cruz of Alhambra, California.
Then the hired men should chop up the car, fence the components, and sink the rest somewhere off the coast. So, Cruz would cop the check from the Farmers Insurance. But the plan didn’t work out like that.
The hired men clipped the car off Wilshire, but they fell really hard for the Italian machine. This story reminds of the Huntsman and Snow White – they couldn’t land the dagger.
So, they only torched out the rear badge for some reason, buried the car in some yard in West Athens (someone says it was in an old mechanic’s pit). The man got his check, but they never came back for her. At least almost 35 years ago, according to the snitch.

The current owner of the 1974 Dino 246 GTS is Brad Howard. His story comes after the Farmers Insurances sold the car to AraManoogian, a Los Angeles businessman. When Howard heard about the car he made him an offer, and in the following video you the see the revival of the Dino and the post-restoration life.
